Got these lettuce leaves from our kitchen garden but one can't survive only on salad.
So ordered vegetables on line and it arrived this morning. As soon as it was delivered, we kept it out in the sun.
The contents being perishable, I could not keep it in the sun for long so had to unpack it.
I must say that all the contents in it were fresh and the rates too were reasonable. All this is for Rs 400/- (less than $6)
We made sure that everything was washed properly for a long time before storing in the fridge.
The only catch is that they will do the home delivery for a minimum of fifty boxes. So for large societies this should be a boon especially in this difficult time of lockdown.

It is so good that you don't have to go out to get vegetables. And they look really fresh. Is it Star bazaar? Will help to know.
@Sharmila It is from Sahyadiri Farms. If they (Sahyadiri Farms) has no objection, I will add their link in the blog itself.
Sue also wipes the boxes and then soaks the produce in the sink with vinegar added to the water. She then rinses and allows it all to dry.
You can't be too careful!
What a great idea. All that produce looks just marvelous -- really beautiful and healthy. What a great idea!
That's a great way to get vegetables, especially now.
Luxury in these trying times. And, thanks to those working behind the scene.
Looks like you got quite a tasty haul there!
In most places vegetables are available though not in terms of variety but the online facility should be useful for big housing complexes where vegetables are not easily available. An useful information.
I am glad we still can go to the store and get fresh veggies and all there (except masks or desinfectant....).
Good you found an online solution!
Really a good and quality service!
