Sports day at Little Angels school

School sports is a big event for any school going kid and it is more so for these kids who were preparing for it for the last four months.

I specially liked their march past to the tune of Col Bogey march. Each one trying to keep in step.

There were events that suited each child and in some cases the parents and the children had to take part together.

It must be a real proud moment for the parents to see their kids on the victory stand.

A special mention should be made about the instructors who were hovering around giving them the right encouragement, a nudge and a push wherever required.

All ready, waiting for the next performance.

Made a small trailer of the whole event.

I was observing these ladies from the neighborhood who were also enjoying the events.

Liked that special event for the parents who had to race, with the wives leading the race.

And the winners

The last item on the agenda was an entertainer for everyone – the tug of war for the parents, or to put it in a better way – the tug of war between husbands and wives

The look on all the husband’s face with that expression “for once I am going to defeat her”

Have made small capsules of videos covering the complete event. While editing, I was just looking at the faces in the slow motion action replay of the tug of war. It is pure joy written on each and every face, and at the end of the day that is what counts.
The videos are titled as:

What a wonderful school and it's so nice to see teachers and parents working together on a project/program like this. It's great whenever we can help a child get a head-start in life!

I so enjoy your posts on this school. Not so much the school but how you speak so nicely of it and how you showcase it. Your videos are pretty neat too. What a wonderful place for the children and community.

I watched some of the videos. The tug of war is especially funny.

All the photos remind me of "field day" at the school of my children when they were younger. People share the same kinds of joy all over the world.

Dear Joe,
Enjoyed sports day.
Last week there was a sports day in my grandson's school, I attended the same.
I could compare and could imagine the great efforts put by staff, parents and of course students of little angles.
And also by you so that we could watch, enjoy the same.
Thanks for sharing.

Many thanks for sharing this and the youtube links. The little ones opened up tear gates.
The caregivers/organizers seemed very highly enthused in the work they do. God bless each and every one of them for the hard work that goes into all they do.
Kudos to all the mums and dads out there as they watch their ‘little angels’ grow in the light of God.
Regards
Lynette

What a wonderful event, for students and their parents alike. It looks like the children are having so much fun. I just love the photo of the four ladies and two young boys watching. The colors in India are so bright and pleasing.
